Top 10 Bodyweight Moves of 2009 – DOC’s Picks
Guys, I know that I’ve been blogging a bit about lifting weights, more specifically my homemade DB, but I don’t want you to think that I’ve abandoned my love for bodyweight training.
Nothing could be farther from the truth!
I do some sort of BWEs everyday, from joint mobility exercises to knocking out a couple of counter pushups and hindu squats in the kitchen; nevertheless, my focus will shift to training with BWEs more in a couple of months. (more…)
No Deposit, No Return …
When I was in the eleventh grade, I had the privilege of serving as a US Congressional Page representing Washington, DC. It was truly an interesting job for a high school student, and going to a school that started at 5:30am in the morning was something really new for me. Nevertheless, it was a pretty good paying gig for a 16 year-old.
I opened my first checking and savings account at the Congressional Credit Union, and even had my own ATM card. Well, this was a big thing for me because the whole concept of walking up and getting money from a machine always fascinated me. So, having my own card, with my own name on it, made getting money out that much sweeter. (more…)

You guys already know that I really like the training articles that Charles Staley puts out. Well, he just sent out one of his more controversial two-part articles a week or so ago.
I didn’t get a chance to read it when it was originally written; nevertheless, I’m glad that he re-published it.
What stood out the most to me in the article is what Angela Bassett’s trainer had to say about her jaw dropping physique when she played Tina Tuner in the film What’s Love Gotta Do With It.
