Fellas, as you can see, my hosting service was able to literally resurrect my blog from its bare state.

Unfortunately, my youtube videos are no longer available; it’s a long and personal story that I don’t care to go into or share in such a public forum.

So, my wife took an Anthropology class a couple of years ago.  And as part of her grade, she had to write a report after visiting the LA Zoo.

Since I hadn’t been to the LA Zoo in the more than 10 years that I’ve been living here, I figured that it would be nice to see the animals.

While I’ve visited much larger zoos, what really surprised me was when we went to the Campo Gorilla Reserve. (more…)

Yesterday, a bunch of colleagues from my department had a nice retirement luncheon for Mr. Rod Sciborski.

Besides the fact that Rod’s an all-around great guy, he is an avid carpenter who loves to build furniture.  He showed me a picture of his most recent treasure: a mahogany coffee table that shows incredible craftsmanship. (more…)

“Eat Less, Move More” Is Not A 50/50 Proposition

It amazes me how many sites I’ve visited that have people proclaiming that this fat loss dictum simply doesn’t work for them.

Well, unless they are from another planet or are part of a new species, I would say that the tried and true advice of eating a little less and moving a little more will definitely cause the bathroom scale to start going in the right direction.

However, I think that there are a couple of things that most guys overlook when they’re told to eat less and move more. (more…)

My New Training Blog

OK fellas, as promised on last week, today I’m releasing my new and improved Training Log, which I’ve titled The Henry Higgins Strength Project!

A couple of months ago, I stopped writing in my daily online log because I found the wonders of using my flip video camera.  However, I would still get emails from the faithful few readers who missed my written logs.

So, I decided to go back to the old written format of my training log with a splash of videos here and there. (more…)
